Position Vacant: Operations Coordinator

The Position
VAF Memstar is looking to appoint an Operations Coordinator who will report directly to the Operations & Administration Manager and will be based at VAF Memstar’s Barossa facility.
This permanent (5-day week) part-time role is best suited to a candidate who is a self-motivated all-rounder, with impeccable attention to detail and amazing organisational skills. They are a quick learner with a positive can-do attitude with a high-quality work ethic. Computer skills are essential together with excellent communication skills and a friendly and pleasant manner.
The role requires 5 days a week, however, hours can be reduced to part-time (e.g., 9am – 2/3pm).
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Assist incoming visitors to site.
- Update and manage the revision of in-house documentation.
- Carry out general office duties.
- Maintain the CRM system with the most up-to-date information for customers in a timely manner.
- Generate quotations and scheduling of equipment for customers.
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures and comply with OH&S procedures.
- Be able to work independently.
- Make travel arrangements as directed by the Operations & Administration Manager.
- Maintain all company property, premises and materials in a safe and workable condition.
- Collecting data to assist in the accurate reporting of ethanol and strip water volumes to the Australian Taxation Office as required by the Ethanol and Strip Water Licenses.
- Develop good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to ensure on-time practices.
- Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Conduct other duties as directed by the Operations & Administration Manager
- Represent VAF Memstar in a professional manner.
